All E-Cards are 100% FREE!
Why eCards?
Chances are that, by now, you have probably received a few e-cards in your e-mail box. E-cards became popular not long after the internet "caught on" and it wasn't long before sending an e-card became the equivalent (to some) of sending a regular greeting card through the mail! Obviously there were some companies that wanted to capitalize upon this demand and became subscription sites. They charged their customers a monthly membership fee in exchange for using their services.
While subscription based e-cards are certainly an interesting idea for people who send a lot of e-cards, why spend a lot of money when you don't have to? There are plenty of free e-card companies to choose from and each free e-card company has plenty of different e-cards to choose from. Some might say that the vast quantity of free e-cards that are available bests the stereotypical Hallmark slogan: "a card for every occasion."
Why send a free e-card?
The real question is why not send a free e-card? Beyond the "free" aspect of free e-cards, e-cards are a great way to let people know that you are thinking of them. You can send birthday cards, anniversary cards (though if it is your anniversary, and all you send is a card, don't blame us if you sleep on the couch!), thinking of you cards, friendship cards…you get the idea.
E-cards also trump regular paper-based cards because they are more environmentally friendly! No trees are cut down to make e-cards and you don't have to worry about the potential waste after the card has been read.
E-cards, particularly free e-cards are far more cost effective than the regular paper and postage cards. Not only do you not have to pay for the card or its postage but you can send a free e-card to many people at the same time! Think of the money you'll save on cards and postage!
E-cards are a nice, informal, way to say thank you or greet people whose association with you is more professional than casual. A quick e-card to thank a client for their business is often better received than a paper and postage card. When someone you don't know very well is going through a hard time, a simple e-card saying "I'm thinking of you" is a fantastic way to reach out without having to worry whether or not you are pushing any boundaries.
Whether you are looking for a fun and easy way to tell an old friend that you are thinking of him (or her) or need a quick and informal way to thank a client for her (or his) business, a free e-card is the way to go! You can send any kind of card you want without spending any money on cards, postage or the gas that will be needed to drive to the store!
The only thing a free e-card won't save you is time. With so many options to choose from finding just the right card could take a while!
